What Is Bikram Yoga?

The Bikram method of Yoga is performed in a room heated to 105-110 degrees and is a completely different, challenging and fun way to get a complete body workout.

The 26 postures increase strength, balance and flexibility, and challenge the mind and open the heart.

The heated room allows the muscles, ligaments and joints to stretch without injury.

Together the heat and the 26 posture series of Bikram Yoga can produce overall body healing.

Some students who have started yoga to rehabilitate have been relieved of such ailments as depression, anxiety, sleeping disorders, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, and chronic back pain. Yoga can also be used to manage stress and feed the soul.

Our classes offer something for everyone. No matter what your level of fitness you will find Bikram’s Yoga class very challenging. Whether you are brand new to yoga or you have tried other styles this 90 minute workout will give you something new and exciting.
